About Christelle
Christelle is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with international experience across multiple jurisdictions. She holds a Master’s degree in European and International Business Law obtained in France.
After beginning her career in France, Christelle moved to Luxembourg where she worked for four years as a Corporate Lawyer specialising in Funds and Capital Markets. In this role, she serviced high-net-worth individuals, Venture Capital Trusts, Joint Ventures and Financial Institutions, handling cross-border restructurings valued up to £380m across Europe, offshore jurisdictions, and other international financial hubs. She also gained valuable experience working with various regulated and non-regulated markets throughout Europe.
Christelle subsequently relocated to the UK to pursue her qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales. After obtaining her GDL, she completed her LPC with distinction. During her qualification period, she gained experience in commercial litigation at High Street law firms, working on various commercial litigation matters as well as high-value and complex fraud matters and insolvency cases. She obtained her Higher Rights of Audience in 2020 and qualified as a solicitor in 2021.
From September 2021 to April 2025, Christelle worked at an International Law Firm, specialising in Financial Services Disputes and Investigations. Her role primarily focused on commercial litigation in the Financial Services sector, dealing with financial and regulatory investigations, asset recovery in international fraud matters, insolvency litigation, complex personal guarantee enforcement, mortgage enforcement, possession proceedings, and obtaining injunctive reliefs.
Christelle was also actively involved in pro bono activities, acting for and representing victims of domestic abuse in obtaining non-molestation orders, a cause very close to her heart.
Outside of work, Christelle enjoys spending time with her family, especially dancing with her young son. She thrives on new challenges and experiences, particularly those with an element of adventure. She has developed a passion for art in recent years, enjoying painting and drawing. Christelle also treasures opportunities to return to Martinique, where she is proudly from originally, and to France, where she grew up.
