Beyond Corporate has continued the expansion of its award-winning corporate team with the appointment of Bartek Szalla as Solicitor.
Bartek has joined to support the corporate team across a broad range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate advisory work, corporate and debt finance, equity structuring, shareholders’ agreements, share buy-backs and corporate reorganisations. He also assists the team on real estate finance matters, including investment and development finance on high-value transactions.
Bartek joins Beyond Corporate at an exciting period of growth for the corporate team, which has built a reputation as one of the leading corporate practices in the North West. The team was named Corporate Firm of the Year at the North West Dealmakers Awards 2024 and is recognised in the country’s leading legal directories, Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners. The team regularly advises on some of the largest and most significant corporate transactions in the region, acting for an impressive portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses, investors and management teams.
Before joining Beyond Corporate, Bartek began his legal career at Glaisyers ETL, where he spent two years as a Corporate Paralegal working on M&A, corporate finance, restructuring and private equity transactions typically ranging from £1m to £20m. He then commenced his training contract at Glaisyers, completing seats in Commercial Litigation, Private Client and Real Estate Finance, before qualifying as a Corporate Solicitor.
Bartek holds a Law with Accounting and Finance degree from the University of Liverpool and an LLM in Legal Practice from BPP Manchester. His combined legal and financial background, together with more than five years’ prior management experience in a commercial environment, gives him a practical and client-focused approach.
